Renowned actor and singer Barbra Streisand has once again voiced her intention to leave the United States if a certain political candidate secures the presidency. In a recent interview on “The Late Show” with Stephen Colbert, Streisand, who actively campaigned for Hillary Clinton in 2016, expressed her dissatisfaction with the current administration and her reluctance to remain in the country under such leadership.
During the interview, Colbert asked Streisand where she might consider moving if she decided to leave the United States. Streisand casually responded, “Probably England, I like England.” This sentiment is not entirely new; she had previously mentioned the idea of relocating to Canada or another country if the same candidate won the presidency in 2016.
Despite her previous vow to leave the country if the candidate won, Streisand, like many other celebrities, chose to stay in the U.S. following the 2016 election. Other notable figures, including Cher, Bryan Cranston, and Amy Schumer, also made similar promises but decided to remain in the country after the election results.
