The feud between members of the royal family has been ongoing and it has taken a toll on the relationship between King Charles and his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. After the passing of their great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, Archie and Lilibet received royal titles. However, due to the ongoing family rift, King Charles has been unable to form any kind of bond with Harry’s children.

According to the Mirror, discussions have taken place regarding Charles visiting Harry and his family in the United States in the future. Royal expert Tom Quinn stated that if the visit were to happen, Charles would make sure to spend time with his youngest son and grandchildren. However, there are many obstacles that need to be overcome before this becomes a possibility.

The idea of King Charles meeting Archie and Lili on British grounds is still being debated. Meghan Markle has been vocal about her concerns regarding the security of her children visiting their father’s homeland. When Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties, they were stripped of their publicly-funded security in the UK, as they are no longer working members of the royal family.

On June 4th, Lilibet Diana celebrated her 3rd birthday with a party at Harry and Meghan’s home in Montecito, California. Despite the presence of celebrities like Orlando Bloom, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Oprah Winfrey, there were no members of the British royal family in attendance. However, King Charles made sure to send his birthday wishes along with a gift.

According to royal expert Tom Quinn, King Charles has another gift planned for Lili, but he is waiting for the family feud to be resolved before giving it to her. He previously gifted Prince George a hand-made wooden swing with his name carved on it and has similar plans for Lilibet, but those plans will have to wait until the rift within the family is resolved.

Quinn also mentioned that the reason for the absence of royals at Lilibet’s birthday celebration was due to them not receiving invitations. Meanwhile, a close friend of Harry explained that he purposely excluded his family members from the guest list, as he knew they wouldn’t attend and felt it was for the best. However, Harry is saddened that Archie and Lilibet cannot have a relationship with their cousins while the feud continues.

We can only hope that in the future, the royal family will be able to mend their differences and come together for the sake of the grandchildren.
