The “Karma” singer paused her performance over the weekend to address hecklers.
JoJo Siwa didn’t let the boos bring her down at a recent performance. Instead, she addressed the situation head-on. The 21-year-old singer briefly halted her set at Trixie Mattel’s Pride Disco show in New York City’s Central Park to talk directly to the hecklers in the audience.
“Who the living f—k just booed me? Where the f—k did that come from? Which one of you? Which one of you?” the former Dance Moms star questioned the crowd, as seen in a video shared on social media.
After grabbing a handmade sign from fans in the audience, JoJo doubled down on her response: “Respectfully, f— you!”
This incident came just a week after Siwa broke a record for the largest audience at the Chicago Pride Fest. Reflecting on this accomplishment, she expressed her gratitude to her fans on Instagram, saying, “You all really did that, showed up and had the best time with me. I saw you all with your posters, your F—IN KARMA MAKEUP, your construction vests, your JOJO BOWS, f—ing epic. Best f—ing time, I love you, THANK YOU.”
Siwa’s dedication to her fans and refusal to let negativity dampen her spirit has been showcased time and time again. Earlier this year, she set records at Miami Beach Pride with over 50,000 people in attendance. Siwa’s performances continue to unite and inspire people, creating safe spaces for self-expression and celebration.
As Siwa continues to make waves in the music industry, it’s clear that she remains true to herself and embraces her unique style. Her boldness, positivity, and ability to handle adversity with grace make her a role model for people of all ages. JoJo Siwa is an icon who stands up for what she believes in and encourages others to do the same – a true inspiration for us all.
