Barbra Streisand says she ‘can’t live in this country’ if this happens

Barbra Streisand, a beloved figure in the Hollywood community, recently stirred the pot with her outspoken support of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. She believed Willis was unfairly targeted by conservatives digging into her personal life to tarnish her professional reputation.

In a passionate post on X, Streisand defended Willis, who was accused of having a private relationship with Nathan Wade, a subordinate prosecutor she had hired to handle an investigation into Trump and 18 other individuals charged with racketeering in connection to Georgia’s 2020 election results.

“How absurd that Republicans want Fani Willis dismissed. And for what reason? Are they implying a woman can’t maintain a private life alongside a professional career? Men do it all the time without facing such scrutiny! It’s utterly ridiculous,” Streisand expressed on Monday.

“Trump and his allies are questioning Fani Willis, the DA prosecuting him for attempting to subvert the will of Georgia’s voters. Her private relationship with one of the prosecutors has no bearing on the facts of the case or on Trump’s blatant attempt to pressure the Secretary of State to ‘find’ more votes for him and to introduce false electors to Congress. This is just another attempt by Trump to divert attention,” she further elaborated.
