Both Alfonso and his wife, Angela Ribeiro, have been keeping everyone updated on their daughter Ava Sue’s health through their social media accounts.

Little Ava Sue had an unfortunate accident while riding her sit-down scooter, which led to severe injuries the day before her birthday. This resulted in an emergency surgery on Friday, May 12, aimed at preventing possible scarring.

The actor’s post included images showing the extent of Ava’s injuries, such as severe burns and bruises on her right elbow, shoulder, and eye.

Alfonso took a moment to praise his daughter’s bravery and to extend his heartfelt thanks to the medical professionals at Kare MD Skin Health. He shared, “Not the kind of day you want the day before turning 4,” reflecting on the tough situation.

He further expressed his appreciation for the swift actions of Kare MD Skin Health in providing immediate care and performing surgery that will hopefully minimize scarring risks. Moreover, he applauded Ava for her courage throughout the ordeal.
