It’s that time of year again when the air is filled with a spooky vibe, and Halloween decorations start popping up everywhere. But amidst the dark and eerie atmosphere, one neighbor’s act of kindness shone through and captured the hearts of many.

Salena Webb, a Halloween enthusiast and a mother of four from South Carolina, invested a lot of time and effort into creating a graveyard scene in her front yard. Complete with ghosts, spiderwebs, pumpkins, a witch, tombstones, and even skeletons carrying a casket, her display was a true labor of love.

However, when Salena’s neighbor approached her and asked her to remove some of the decorations, she didn’t hesitate to comply. The neighbor’s elderly father had recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and found the display a bit scary. He politely requested Salena to remove the casket from the scene.

Salena’s compassionate nature immediately kicked in. She understood the impact her decorations could have on her neighbor’s father, who spends a lot of time in his garage facing her yard. She didn’t want to add any additional stress or reminders of the struggle he was going through.

Without hesitation, Salena removed the casket from the display and replaced it with skeletons holding badminton rackets. She also relocated some of the scarier decorations to her backyard. Although she was initially a little sad, she realized that her small act of kindness could bring comfort to her neighbor during a difficult time.
