Jason Aldean’s Support for Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention

Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany are not only friends with former President Donald Trump, but they also showed their support by appearing at the Republican National Convention. The country music couple was seated right alongside Trump in his box during the convention, engaging in conversations and shaking hands throughout the night.

They were not the only country stars present at the convention. Chris Janson, Brian Kelley, Lee Greenwood, and Kid Rock also made appearances or performed before Trump’s speech. This show of support from the country music community was especially significant after an assassination attempt on the former president just a week before.

After the convention, Aldean was scheduled to play a private concert at a local casino. There’s no confirmation if Donald Trump or his wife Melania attended the concert, but RNC chair Reince Priebus mentioned it to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

During his speech, Trump praised Aldean and his contributions to country music, mentioning that he had a liking for Aldean’s wife as well. Brittany Aldean shared highlights of their night at the convention on her Instagram page.

In response to the shooting incident, where Aldean himself was a target in the past, he expressed his support for Trump and his family. He wrote, “This is what a Warrior looks like! This is MY guy. @realdonaldtrump we are thinking about u and praying for you and your family. God has a bigger plan for you my friend and I think we all know what that is by now. My heart goes out to the victims’ families as well. They are the ones left to pick up the pieces of this cowardly act.”
