‘Bridgerton’ showrunner Jess Brownell shared the news that the sumptuous period drama will likely return in a full two years. Yes, you heard that right – two years! She spilled the teacup to The Hollywood Reporter about the lengthy creative process.
“We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly,” Brownell explained. “But they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited, and then they have to be dubbed into every language.”
