Two old friends, Mary and Susan, met each other after many years apart. Mary asked, “So, Susan, how’s your son doing?”
Susan let out a sigh and responded, “Oh, my son, bless him! He had such an unfortunate marriage. His wife refuses to do any housework. She just lounges around, sleeping and reading in bed all day.”
She continued, “Can you imagine? The poor boy even brings her breakfast in bed every single morning.”
Mary shook her head sympathetically and said, “That’s really dreadful. But what about your daughter? How is she?”
Susan’s face lit up. “Oh, my daughter is the lucky one! She married an absolute angel. He never lets her do a thing around the house. Every morning, he serves her breakfast in bed, allowing her to sleep in and relax all day long.”
