The body of Riley Strain, the Missouri college student who went missing two weeks ago, has been found in a river in Nashville. This devastating news was confirmed by the Metro Nashville Police Department. Officials recovered Strain’s body from the Cumberland River in West Nashville early Friday morning.

At this time, there is no evidence of any foul play or trauma, but an autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death. Riley Strain, 22 years old, was last seen on March 8 after being asked to leave Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge Bar in downtown Nashville. There were a few sightings of him afterwards, captured on surveillance cameras crossing the street near the bar and having a brief interaction with the police.

The day after he disappeared, his fraternity brothers, who were with him in Nashville, reported him missing. Since then, law enforcement and search teams have been tirelessly looking for him, but it wasn’t until March 16 that they discovered his bank card along the banks of the Cumberland River. This led to a breakthrough in the search effort.

Our hearts go out to Riley’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. We cannot imagine the pain and sorrow they must be feeling. This story is still developing, and we will provide updates as more information becomes available.
