In the absence of his father, King Charles, Prince William has taken on the responsibility of fulfilling the royal duties and caring for his family. King Charles is currently receiving weekly treatments for his cancer in London, while his son is juggling his roles as a father, a husband, and a representative of the crown.

Not only is Prince William supporting his father during this challenging time, but he is also there for his wife, who is recovering from a planned abdominal surgery. In addition to caring for his wife, Prince William is looking after their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Recently, Prince William attended an event to raise funds for London’s Air Ambulance. During the event, he expressed his gratitude for the kind messages of support for both his wife and his father, especially in recent days. Among the attendees was actor Tom Cruise, whom the Prince shared a lighthearted moment with. Prince William jokingly asked Cruise not to “borrow” any of the helicopters, alluding to the actor’s daring stunts in the popular Mission Impossible movie series.

Speaking at the event, Prince William emphasized the importance of the London Air Ambulance and the vital work carried out by air ambulance teams across the country. Being a former pilot for the East Anglia Air Ambulance, he recognized the life-saving difference they make in delivering urgent medical care wherever it’s needed. Prince William highlighted the need for a new fleet of helicopters in London, which will be equipped with the latest technology, including night vision capabilities.

While King Charles is undergoing treatment, he will not be attending public events. He is currently spending his time at the Sandringham estate. The specific details regarding the type of cancer he has been diagnosed with have not been disclosed to the public.
