A Teacher’s Act of Kindness: Standing Up Against Bullying

William Gierke, a 9-year-old boy from Wisconsin, made a courageous decision when he chose to wear a pink T-shirt to school. His purpose was to show support for cancer patients, especially those battling breast cancer. The shirt had the message, “Tough Guys Wear Pink,” and was sold as a means to raise funds for a breast cancer charity.
