Simone Biles’ incredible performance at the Olympics in Paris has fans reminiscing about her viral picture with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

Back in February 2017, the photo of the 4ft 8ins gymnast standing next to the towering 7ft 1ins basketball star went viral. Biles captioned the picture with a playful “Hey Shaq,” highlighting the stark difference in their heights.

Now, the picture has resurfaced again following Biles’ remarkable achievement of winning her fifth Olympic gold medal in the gymnastics team final on Tuesday.

One fan reposted the picture on social media, marveling at Biles’ incredible skills by saying, “During her floor routine, the top of (Biles’) head got to 12ft above the floor. That means she can jump over Shaq. I guess people really can fly!”

Biles, already the most decorated gymnast of all time, attracted a star-studded audience to Tuesday’s final in France, with the likes of Bill Gates, Spike Lee, and Serena Williams spotted in the stands.

The 27-year-old’s victory secured her first Olympic gold since Rio 2016, as the American team achieved an unbeatable score of 171.296.

With this win, Biles has now become the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history, surpassing Shannon Miller with a total of eight medals.

Hours after this momentous achievement, Biles’ husband Jonathan Owens shared his pride and joy, posing for pictures wearing her medal.

“Witnessing history every time you step on the mat,” NFL star Owens wrote on social media. “Congrats, baby, on becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history!!!! Just wow!!!! 8 of them!!!!! So thankful I was there to see it.”
