The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home featured in the beloved 1990 film has hit the market for $5.25 million.
The Winnetka, Illinois property was the center of the classic holiday movie, which followed 8-year-old Kevin McCallister, as he was mistakenly left home alone after his family went on Christmas vacation.
The listing is held by Kathryn Moor and Dawn McKenna of Coldwell Banker Realty.
McKenna tells PEOPLE that the property, which also boasts a fully equipped gym, a state-of-the-art movie theater, an indoor sports court, and a three-car attached heated garage, is a “rare legend that lives up to its hype in every way.”

Originally built in 1921, the 9,126-square-foot property lies behind a wrought-iron gate on a tree-lined street and boasts a flowing floor plan.
