A Welsh hiker, Craig Muir, had an extraordinary experience during his recent hike on Hay Bluff in Wales. He stumbled across a 10-foot tall silver monolith that seemed to have appeared ‘out of nowhere’. The discovery left him in awe and feeling like he had encountered a UFO.

Describing the structure, Muir said it looked like it was made of a very fine metallic material, resembling surgical steel. What amazed him even more was that despite the strong winds, the monolith stood perfectly leveled and steady. There were no tracks around it and it seemed to have been accurately placed in the ground, without causing any mess.

Muir speculated that the monolith may have been dropped from the air by a group of people who approached the location via helicopter. It is worth noting that the hill is inaccessible by car, adding to the mystery surrounding its origins.

Richard Haynes, a photographer who captured images of the monolith, also found the structure to be quite peculiar. Initially, he thought it might be a scientific research device collecting rainwater. However, upon closer inspection, he realized it was too tall and strange-looking for that purpose. The monolith was triangular and made of stainless steel, with a hollow interior. Haynes believed it was light enough for two people to carry it and plant it in the ground.

Interestingly, nobody has come forward to claim ownership of the monolith discovered in Wales. This finding follows the appearance of similar structures in various parts of the world. The first one was found in a remote desert in Utah, followed by another in the Romanian city of Piatra Neamt. A third monolith emerged atop California’s Pine Mountain. Then, in 2020, a structure was discovered on Compton Beach on the Isle of Wight, off the south coast of England.

The appearance of these mysterious monoliths continues to captivate people’s imaginations, leaving them wondering about their purpose and origins. As for Muir and Haynes, they will forever carry the memory of their unexpected encounter with a silver monolith in the Welsh countryside.
