The couple was taken on a trip down memory lane as they reacted to their fashion choices from the ’90s and early 2000s. It was a hilarious and candid moment as they reminisced about their past styles.
One of the standout outfits was the eye-popping patterned looks the couple wore to the 2000 Soap Opera Digest Awards. As they reviewed the photos, Kelly and Mark were asked to declare whether they considered their outfits “Red Carpet Glam” or “Not a Fan.” Kelly’s response was priceless. She couldn’t help but laugh and defend her ensemble, saying, “Let me just say, the outfit is fabulous. I don’t know what was happening, but it was all in style back then.”
Mark also had a moment of truth when shown a picture of himself wearing a damask-print Gucci by Tom Ford suit. He admitted that he still owned it but wouldn’t dare wear it again. The game continued, and fans got to see Mark’s laid-back event style as he declared himself “Not a Fan” of one outfit that featured flip-flops.
Another topic of conversation was Kelly’s love for opulent fashion, exemplified by her 1993 Daytime Emmys turquoise-and-gold Bob Mackie gown. She truly looked like a soap star with her stunning hair, glamorous makeup, and pageant-like style. Kelly jokingly commented that she didn’t do her own hair and makeup for the event. They also had a laugh comparing her show-stopping updo to Teresa Giudice’s $10,000 wedding-day hair.
The couple has been feeling extra nostalgic about their relationship lately. They recently recreated their 1996 Las Vegas wedding photo, showcasing their enduring love. Kelly and Mark met in 1995 while filming for All My Children and quickly fell in love.
They eloped in Las Vegas after less than a year of dating and have since built a beautiful family together. Their wedding memories are still vivid, even after 28 years. Kelly said, “We cherish those memories, still to this day. It’s been 28 years, and we still can remember every minute of that wedding. And I mean, it was really minutes. It was like two minutes!”
