Lisa Loring, who played Wednesday Addams in the original “Addams Family” television series, has died. She was 64 years old.

Loring died on Saturday night in hospital surrounded by family, her daughter told Variety.

“She went peacefully with both her daughters holding her hands,” she said.

Loring was taken off life support on Saturday after having a “massive stroke,” according to her friend Laurie Jacobson, who announced her death on Facebook.

“I report the death of our friend, Lisa Loring, with profound grief,” Jacobson wrote.

“Four days ago, she had a severe stroke caused by smoking and high blood pressure. “She’d been on life support for three days.”

Loring’s family decided to discontinue her life support on Saturday, and she died overnight.

“She is entrenched in the tapestry that is pop culture and in our hearts forever as Wednesday Addams,” Jacobson continued.
