Celebrity marriages often don’t stand the test of time, and the reasons behind their short lives are many. One factor that contributes to these breakups is the demanding and hectic lives celebrities lead. With their busy schedules, they often find it challenging to spend quality time with their families, resulting in a high number of divorces among the elite.

An example of such a relationship is that of Hollywood star Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. When they first started dating, all eyes were on them, but sadly, their relationship was short-lived. After their divorce, custody of their daughter, Suri Cruise, was awarded to Holmes, with Cruise allowed to see her only ten days a month. Surprisingly, Cruise chose not to exercise his visitation rights, much to the public’s surprise.

Rumors circulated that one reason for the split was Cruise’s close association with the controversial Church of Scientology, as Suri was not a member. Although Holmes never explicitly stated this as the cause, she implied it indirectly. Regardless of her father’s absence, Suri grew up to be a remarkable young lady, thanks to her mother’s loving and devoted upbringing.

Recently, Suri captured the attention of many with her angelic voice. She made her big-screen singing debut by covering Frank Sinatra’s “Blue Moon” for the movie “Alone Together.” The film tells the story of two strangers stuck in bad relationships who find themselves sharing the same upstate New York Airbnb.

Holmes, the director of the film, wanted perfection when it came to the vocals. Choosing her exceptionally talented daughter was a no-brainer. “She has a lot of talent. She said she’d do it, and she did. In general, that’s how I direct. ‘This is what I believe we all want, and then go do your thing,’” Holmes revealed.

And if you think Holmes is just being a proud mother, think again. Many people have taken the time to appreciate Suri’s hard work and talent. One person exclaimed, “She avoided the modern pitfalls of overdoing scales throughout the song. Her voice sounded lovely and well-trained, and she didn’t need to over-perform! It’s refreshing to see a celebrity’s child shine on her own after putting in the effort. Bravo!”

Another fan praised Suri’s fantastic vocal control, stating, “She sounds fantastic and has excellent control over her voice. I’m genuinely impressed.”

In fact, one fan even compared Suri’s singing to that of the iconic singer, actress, and activist Doris Day, who rose to fame in the late 1930s. Day’s career as a big band singer led her to achieve commercial success in the mid-1940s.

Suri, you did an incredible job, and your talent is undeniable. Keep shining!
