While some are satisfied with subtle changes, others go to great lengths to achieve their desired look. One such person is Andrea Ivanova, a 24-year-old woman with a unique obsession: the size of her lips.
Using hyaluronic acid lip injections, Andrea has significantly enlarged her lips. Her goal is to have the biggest lips in the world, and she believes she’s almost there.
Andrea, who is from Sofia, Bulgaria, has undergone 27 procedures to quadruple the size of her lips, according to Unilad. “I like them a lot and feel much better,” Andrea told Jam Press.
Spent about $5,000
Andrea’s pursuit of larger lips hasn’t been cheap. Each injection costs about $150 in Bulgaria, and she has spent around $5,000 on her lips according to Malay Mail.
Despite studying German philology at a university in Sofia, Andrea hasn’t had enough and wants even bigger lips, although doctors advise against it. “Many men from all over the world write to me on social media, offering money, trips, and inviting me to meetings all the time,” she says.
Although she doesn’t hold an official world record, Andrea believes she possesses the biggest lips in the world. Several followers on social media agree, claiming no one else has lips as large as hers.
Trouble eating after the procedures
While Andrea loves her “lovely” lips, her journey hasn’t been without challenges. “Some doctors think I’ve had enough, but my doctor said he will do more injections for me if I wait at least two months,” she shares.
After each procedure, Andrea faces difficulties. “I like my new lips a lot. It was hard to eat after the injection, and it gets more difficult two to three days after the procedure. However, there are no restrictions on what I can eat,” she explains.
Pays no attention to lips haters
Although Andrea’s appearance is quite striking, she believes in personal choice when it comes to body modifications. She receives a lot of negative comments online but tries to ignore them. “I think everyone should look however they want,” she says.
