Wynonna Judd responded to concerned fans after a wave of comments poured in on Wednesday night, expressing worry over the beloved country singer’s health.

Judd, 59, along with Jelly Roll, 38, kicked off the CMA Awards by performing Jelly Roll’s song “Need a Favor.” During the performance, Judd was noticeably holding onto Jelly Roll, which sparked many fans to express their concerns about her well-being.

Following the show, Judd took to her social media accounts with a video to address her fans’ concerns.

“Don’t read the comments” they say… she humorously captioned her video.

In the brief clip, Judd admitted that she did read the comments and decided to be upfront with her followers.

“I’m just gonna come clean with y’all,” she began. “I was so freaking nervous.”

Judd revealed that when Jelly Roll invited her to open the show with him, she was thrilled but couldn’t shake her nervousness.

“I got out there and I was so nervous that I just held on for dear life. And that’s the bottom line,” she confessed.

After her performance, Judd spoke with ET and shared why she chose to accept Jelly Roll’s invitation to share the stage.

“I have to show up for people like people did me,” Judd told ET. “That’s my job now: to pass it on because people have been so generous with me and now it’s my turn to be generous with people like Jelly Roll and that’s what I’m doing.”

We’re relieved to hear that Wynonna Judd is doing well. She has faced some tough times over the past couple of years.

Let’s hope and pray that 2024 brings her much better days.
