Just last year, the Gaineses debuted the Magnolia Channel in partnership with Discovery. Shortly after its launch, Decider listed the Magnolia Network as one of the top 25 basic cable networks, and it even received five Emmy nominations. And now, with WarnerMedia and Discovery joining forces, the decision to bring some of the Gaines’ content to HBO Max serves as an early collaboration between these two media powerhouses.
