North West is taking to the stage in The Lion King!

The 10-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West performed as Young Simba during Disney’s The Lion King live concert to celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on May 24.

North — with her family members cheering in the audience — was all smiles onstage, dressed as the lion cub, while singing “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” from the animated film.

Wearing a light yellow furry hood, zipped sweater, matching shorts, and furry boots, North looked every bit the King of the Pride Lands. She was also joined on stage by Jennifer Hudson, who was a special guest in the concert.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), North appeared from behind some prop leaves held by the dancers to sing her song. She then confidently walked along the stage, performing dance steps alongside the dancers, who were also in costume.

Meanwhile, North’s mom, Kim Kardashian, 43, shared her excitement on Instagram Stories on May 24. She posted a photo of The Lion King-themed cookies with a cute iced image of North beside Young Simba. Additionally, she shared pictures of flowers gifted to North by her great-grandmother, Mary Jo ‘MJ’ Shannon, and Kris Jenner.

North’s involvement in Disney’s The Lion King 30th Anniversary – A Live-to-Film Concert Event, a special two-day event, was announced earlier this month. This spectacular concert runs from May 24 to May 25, with a special set airing on Disney+ called The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter performed alongside original cast members such as Billy Eichner, Bradley Gibson, Ernie Sabella, Jason Weaver, Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, and new additions Heather Headley, and Lebo M. Not to mention, Jennifer Hudson, 42, made a special guest appearance.

North’s latest performance follows her stage act of “Talking” from her father Kanye’s new album, Vultures, at the Rolling Loud festival in March. That performance came shortly after she announced her upcoming debut album.
